Egypt's food exports reached 200,000 tons during the period from July 27th to August 2nd, according to the National Food Safety Authority's (NFSA) weekly report. This impressive figure reflects a wide variety of over 550 kinds of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other food items. The fresh onions led the vegetable export with 13,000 tons shipped, followed closely by beans with 12,000 tons. In total, a remarkable 72 vegetable varieties found their way to international markets, contributing 45,000 tons to the overall export volume. Mangoes led fruit exports last week at 12,000 tons, followed by citrus and strawberries at 11,000 tons each. In total, 73 varieties of fruits were exported, amounting to approximately 37,000 tons. Egypt's food exports continue to expand global reach, with shipments delivered to 145 countries during the week of July 27th to August 2nd.
