MB leader meets with secular opposition
Published in Almasry Alyoum on 13 - 06 - 2010

Muslim Brotherhood (MB) General Guide Mohamed Badie held a meeting on Saturday with the leaders of different secular political forces to discuss possible future cooperation, according to informed sources speaking on condition of anonymity.
While MB spokesman Essam el-Erian denied that the group had held any such gathering, however, leading MB member Ibrahim Youssry--who reportedly hosted the meeting at his home--confirmed it had in fact taken place.
"The meeting was held in an amicable and friendly atmosphere," Youssry said. "We discussed the internal political situation, but didn't come up with any specific recommendations."
Attendees reportedly agreed to hold similar meetings every month.
