Doha – A military expert said on Friday that Qatar has pumped €750 million to fund terrorism in Libya since the Libyan Revolution of 2011. In a phone call with "90 Minutes" program on Al-Mehwar satellite channel, retired Maj. Gen. Hisham Al-Halabi pointed out that more than 1,000 four-wheel drive (4×4) vehicles unsuccessfully tried to cross Egypt's border with Libya since 2011, but they were thwarted. Al-Halabi, a consultant at Nasser Military Academy, added that terrorist organizations aim to occupy a part of Egyptian territory, as was the case in Syria, and control east of the Egyptian province of Arish to serve the interest of the Muslim Brotherhood group.
