Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport received Tuesday 18 international flights carrying on board 1572 tourists coming from different countries, and 1627 tourists of various Arab nationalities have left the airport returning home, Youm7 News reported. Director of operations and crisis management in South Sinai, Essam Khader revealed that the percentage of occupancy in Sharm reached 17% while public reached 15%. Meanwhile, South Sinai tourist resorts had received 339 tourists coming from Israel's Eilat who are heading to Taba, Nuweiba, Dahab and Sharm el-Sheikh resorts amid tight security, while 545 tourists left, Khader added.
