Indonesian media praised President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo in Jakarta that aimed to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, trade and fighting terror fields, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday. The Jakarta Post newspaper reported that Sisi's visit to Jakarta strengthened the EgyptianIndonesian relationship as well as correcting the misconceptions about Islam. The newspaper added that the visit will boost trade and economic cooperation between Egypt and Indonesia, pointing out that Sisi said that Egypt provides protection for all Indonesians living in its territory. The Kompas newspaper pointed out Sisi is the first president to visit Indonesia since 1983, adding that this visit will boost the IndonesianEgyptian coordination. Metro TV channel reported that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's visit to Indonesia reflects the keenness of the two countries to strengthen bilateral cooperation to serve regional and Islamic issues.
