Hammad visits Germany to support cooperation in sewage treatment field

Minister of Scientific Research, Sherif Hamad visits Germany Saturday to support cooperation in sewage treatment field, Al Bawaba News reported.
Hamad who is accompanied by a delegation of officials from the Ministries of Housing and Military Production, as well as the Arab Organization for Industrialization, will spend five days in Germany.
The minister said before leaving Cairo that he would discuss during his visit ways to support scientific cooperation between the two countries and take advantage of Germany's superiority in the technical and scientific fields of sewage treatment.
He explained that he seeks to find out the extent of development that Germany has achieved in sewage treatment and to identify the nature of its advanced technology in order to implement the German experience in this field in Egyptian sewage treatment plants.
Furthermore, he pointed out that Germany will cooperate with Egypt in the implementation of several joint projects in this field.
