Egypt's Salafist Call deputy leader, Yasser Borhamy and other Salafist leaders violated the endowments minister's decision whereby all Salafists were banned from delivering Friday sermon, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. Borhamy delivered last Friday sermon at Al-Sahaba mosque in Alexandria, announcing that he will lecture about the jurisprudence of jihad and its controls at the same mosque on Sunday. Sources in the Salafist movement asserted that the ministry did not assign alternative preachers for the Salafist leaders, referring that a number of Salafists had delivered Friday sermons in many mosques across the country.
