Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the US Secretary of State John Kerry had a phone conversation to talk about the tasks ahead of them regarding Syria and Yemen, as well as "certain aspects" of the situation in Eastern Ukraine's Donbass region, according to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry. Certain "other issues of bilateral relations" were also discussed. Lavrov and Kerry have been keeping in touch via personal meetings and phone calls. Their last conversation took place a week ago and focused on Ukraine.
