Sufra Dayma: Chocolate Fudge Sauce By Moushira Abdel-Malek Ingredients: 200 gms good quality dark chocolate (coarsely chopped) 1/2 cup cream 1 cup sweetened condensed milk 1/3 cup brown sugar 2 tbsp golden syrup 1 tsp vanilla Method: In a 4-cup capacity pan, place condensed milk, sugar, golden syrup and vanilla. Stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and is caramel in colour. Stir in chocolate gently, until it melts. Add cream and continue stirring, until just combined and mixture is smooth. Pour hot fudge sauce over vanilla ice-cream. You may also pour, hot or cold, over chocolate cakes and brownies, with or without ice-cream.
