Ahly's training postponed until Wednesday
Ahly's board have decided to postpone resuming training sessions until Wednesday, hoping the ongoing protests will be calmer

Ahly's first football team will return to training on Wednesday instead of Monday as the club board is worried that the protests may become more aggravated in the coming hours.
“We didn't oppose the departure of Portuguese coach Manuel Jose Da Silva and his foreigner assistants to their homelands until the protests in Egypt settle down,” Ahly's football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz was quoted as saying by Al Ahram on Monday.
“The training sessions will be led by assistant coach Mohamed Youssef until the return of Jose,” he added.
Jose and his country fellowmen Pedro and Vedalgo are expected to return to Cairo Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
The Red Devils are waiting for a final decision from Egyptian Football Association about the future of the Egyptian Premiere league, which was postponed due to the ongoing events.
The Egyptian league title holders are fifth in the league table with 26 points, six behind their arch-rivals Zamalek who are in the lead.
