Ahly are the winners, says Egyptian Football Association after Ghazl El-Mahalla controversy Ghazl El-Mahalla lose their latest match and are in disgrace after the referee was forced to cancel the game following bad behaviour from the team's fans
Ahly win 2-0 in the latest Ghazl El-Mahalla and Ahly match, the Egyptian Football Association announced on Sunday. The game was called off a few minutes after Ghazl El-Mahalla's fans invaded the pitch in protest of a controversial own goal, which would have been an equaliser. El-Mahalla have been ordered to play their next three home games outside of the city due to their fan's behaviour during the last game. El-Mahalla's midfielder Ahmed Magdy was also handed a two-match ban for his bad conduct toward the referee. (For more sports news and updates, follow Ahram Online sports on Twitter: @AO_Sports)
