WASHINGTON: The Egyptian Advisory Council will cease its duties until a new president is elected, said Egyptian Defense Attaché to the U.S. Mohamed el-Keshky. Keshky's statements came during a meeting with U.S. congressmen. The Supreme Council of Armed Forces adheres to everything stated in its road map, scheduled to end in June 2012, he added. The next elected parliament will practice its full legislative and constitutional duties, said Keshky.
