CAIRO: A delegation from the U.S. Congress met with the head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, to discuss the first post-revolution parliamentary elections and judicial monitoring, said Congressman David Dreier during his tour of the al-Qawmia al-Moshtaraka School. There are a lot of challenges facing the Egyptian people in the coming period, he added. Dreier expressed his hope that the Egyptian People will achieve their aspirations of economic growth and more job opportunities. He noted the elections are the first step towards these aspirations. He also said he des not feel sorry about Mubarak's overthrow on Feb. 11 and that it opened gate for the democracy.
