EGX closes in green area on Feb. 26

Egypt's stock exchange (EGX) closed mixed on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 climbing by 3.92 per cent to 28,931.92 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises' index, EGX70 surged by 0.42 per cent, to 7,576.15 points.
The index, EGX100 index surged by 1.29 per cent, to 10,537.94 points.
The total market cap reached 2,023,328,787,334 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners transactions were mainly selling with a total of 134,418,091 Egyptian pounds, and 2,290,600,408 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with 2,425,018,499 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
The shares of Alexandria Flour Mills (AFMC.CA) rose by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 32.340 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of MM Group For Industry and International Trade (MTIE.CA) climbed by 19.95 per cent, to trade at the price of 9.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Canal Shipping Agencies (CSAG.CA) jumped by 19.71 per cent, to the purchasing price of 29.390 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of Northern Upper Egypt Development & Agricultural Production (NEDA.CA) plunged by 8.98 per cent, to close at 2.330 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA) declined by 7.55 per cent, to close at 2.940 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Nasr Company for Civil Works (NCCW.CA) dropped by 6.80 per cent, to close at the price of 5.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
