EGX ends in green on Feb.5

Egypt's stock exchange (EGX) closed in the green area on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.33 per cent, to 27,665.75 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises' index, EGX70 climbed by 2.09 per cent, to 6,822.93 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 2.10 per cent, to 9,581.76 points.
The total market cap reached 1,978,031,056,694 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptian and non-Arab Foreigners transactions were mainly selling with a total of 1,341,490,518 Egyptian pounds, and 781,215,890 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net buyers with 2,122,706,408 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
The shares of ASEC Company for Mining – Ascom (ASCM.CA) rose by 16.33 per cent, to close at the price of 53.510 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Prime Holding (PRMH.CA) climbed by 15.05 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.818 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding-EGP (EKHO.CA) jumped by 12.79 per cent, to the purchasing price of 48.840 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA) fell by 5.46 per cent, to close at 3.460 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of GMC GROUP FOR INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS (GMCI.CA) declined by 4.74 per cent, to close at 1.226 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egypt Aluminum (EGAL.CA) dropped by 4.40 per cent, to close at the price of 123.990 Egyptian pounds a share.
