The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will offer Sunday treasury bills of EGP 9.5 billion to reduce the country's budget deficit, Veto News reported. The bank will offer EGP4.5 billion pounds as 91-day treasury bills while EGP5 billion will be offered as 273-day bills. Egypt's budget deficit reached 191.6 billion pounds at 2015-2016 fiscal year, according to financial analysts. This deficit has been reduced through Arab and international aids plus treasury bonds issued on behalf of the Ministry of Finance.
