A police conscript was killed and another injured in a bombing that targeted Friday night a police vehicle in the North Sinai city of Al-Arish, security and medical sources said. The bombing also killed a civilian, who was identified as Mohamed Ali Khowaiter, according to the sources. The injured were carried to the nearest hospital for treatment. Since the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi, July 2013, a string of deadly bombing have hit Egypt, mostly in the restive Sinai Peninsula, leaving hundreds of police and military personnel as well as civilians killed. No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
