Port Said Criminal Court will hear Monday the testimony of former assistant interior minister Samy Sedhom, in the trial of 51 defendants, over the Port Said prison storming, Youm7 News reported. The court will resume the defense of defendants as well. The defendants are accused of killing 42 persons, including police personnel, inciting violence against civilians, possessing unlicensed weapons, as well as threatening the safety and unity of the society in January 26, 27 and 28, 2013. In January 2013, the defendants allegedly attempted to storm the Port Said prison, following the death sentence against convicts of the Port Said Stadium Massacre.
