Port Said Criminal Court decided Monday to postpone the trial of 51 defendants to February 1, in the case publicly known as "Port Said prison storming" case, Youm7 News reported. The court's decision is to resume the defense of defendants, and to carry out further investigations. The defendants are accused of killing 42 persons, including police personnel, inciting violence against civilians, possessing unlicensed weapons, as well as threatening the safety and unity of the society in January 26, 27 and 28, 2013. In January 2013, the defendants allegedly attempted to storm the Port Said prison, following the death sentence against convicts of the Port Said Stadium Massacre.
