Egyptian Culture Minister, Helmi Al-Namnam on Sunday assigned new heads for the ministry's sectors, Al-Bawaba News reported. The decree includes, Mohammed Abul Fadl Badran, who was assigned as director of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, succeeding Mohammed Abdel Hafez Nassif, who took over the presidency of the Central Administration of Affairs and Literary Competitions. Al-Namnam also assigned Amal Al-Sabban as the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Culture, succeeding Badran. He stressed on the importance to boost cultural activities in Upper Egypt provinces, especially the border areas, indicating they had a future vision to spread culture across Egypt.
