Supreme Council of Culture secretary-general, Mohammed Abul-Fadl Badran met Monday with the Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Cairo Chen Dong to discuss the Egyptian-Chinese culture cooperation, Al Bawaba News reported. Badran said that 2016 will witness a cultural cooperation between Egypt and China as well as strengthening the relations between the two countries. For her part, Dong said that the situation in Egypt is now stable, adding that News Suez Canal project proved that Egypt is moving forward. She added that China and Egypt both have an ancient civilization and mutual understanding, confirming that her country is ready to cooperate with Egypt in the Egyptian-Chinese cultural year in order to promote boost the development process in the two countries.
