The meeting between President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and his Belorussian counterpart will push forward the relations between the two countries during the coming period, said Belorussian Ambassador to Cairo, Sergi Rachkov. The Egyptian President met with his Belorussian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko on the sideline of the UN General Assembly meeting this week. The Belorussian ambassador added, in a statement published by state-run MENA news agency, that the two presidents discussed the recent developments on the international and regional arenas and the Egyptian efforts to fight against terrorism. The Belorussian president praised the Egyptian leadership and its achievements on both economic and political sides, expressing his country's readiness to cooperate with Egypt in different fields. The two presidents prepared a road map to support the economic cooperation between the two countries during the coming period and discussed the possibility of establishing common projects.
