Egypt's Supreme Council of Culture (SCC) will hold a cultural training program for Iraqi Cultural Council officials to boost cultural ties between the two Arab countries, Al-Bawaba News reported Friday. The general-secretary of SCC, Mohamed Abu Al-Fadl Badran met Friday the General Consul of Iraq in Cairo, Zaid Abbas Shenshol to discuss bilateral cultural cooperation, when Badran announced that SCC is ready to hold the cultural training. Shenshol affirmed that his country supports establishing an Arab satellite cultural channel and is looking forward to Egypt's cultural leadership, aiming to sign a memoranda of understanding with SCC in cultural field. At the end of the meeting, Shenshol praised the exerted efforts of Egyptian Culture Minister, Abdel Wahid Al-Nabawy to unite the Arab cultural discourse.
