Egyptian Culture Minister Abdel Wahid Al-Nabawy met with Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Al-Araby to discuss a comprehensive strategy to protect the Arabic culture's identity, Al-Bawaba News reported Wednesday. Al-Nabawy suggested launching a unified Arab project for translation that would help in correcting the image of the Arab world before the West in addition to dealing with long-term cultural issues within Arab communities. He added that it is necessary to have a continuing Arabic cultural dialogues and intellectual meetings periodically under supervision of the Arab ministries of culture.
