Al Wafd Party's Reform Front led by the leading member, Fouad Badrawy will hold a closed meeting Monday to discuss recent resolutions issued by the party's chairperson, Al Sayed Al Badawy, Albawaba News reported. Al Badawy issued a statement declaring the appointment of seven members of the Reform Front within the party's board. The decision based on the President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's suggestion to appoint some opposition members in the party's board, in an attempt to resolve the ongoing conflict inside the oldest Liberal party. Al Badawy called to amend the party's bylaw in accordance with the opposition demands. He also asked the suspended members to have their positions back in the party. The internal division has begun early in May when at least 1,200 members of the party met in the Nile Delta's Sharqia, announcing that they were withdrawing their confidence in party head Al Badawi. Al Badawy, in turn, has suspended eight members of the Reform Front which outraged a wide scale of the party members.
