Egyptian army launched airstrikes against Ansar Bayt Al Maqdis in Sinai on Friday, killed 10 terrorists and injured 14 others, according to Al Bawaba News. The army conducted the attack on the hotbeds of the terrorist group by Apache warplanes, at the villages of Al Qareia and Karm Al Qawadis, south Sheikh Zweid city, North Sinai. Terrorist organizations focused their attack against police and army in Sinai, since the ouster of former president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013. Ansar Bayt Al Maqdis pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in November 2014, dubbing the Egyptian Peninsula as "Wilayet Sinai- Sinai Province," claiming that it became a part of the so-called Islamic State.
