Egypt's IS Branch, Wilayet Sinai released Thursday photos of its jihadists from foreign origins, on a Facebook page affiliated with the group. The photos entitled "The diaries of a Jihadist", featured one of the group's militant, believed to be of European origins carrying an anti-aircraft missile launcher, a militant standing beside a stack of fire arms, and a group of militants receiving their training from a leader in a camouflage army uniform. Concerns over the growing weaponry and tactical capabilities of Wilayet Sinai have been on the rise, following the group's recruitment of foreign efficiently trained militants to carry out wide range terrorist operations against security forces in Egypt. Sinai based Wilayet Sinai –formerly known as Ansar Bayt Almaqdis- pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) November 2014, and has been receiving logistic and military aid from the IS ever since, according to reports. Wilayat Sinai, claimed responsibility for the series of simultaneous attacks targeting army bases in Arish, North Sinai, which left dozens killed and hundreds injured on January 29.
