CAIRO: Egypt's ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces passed a decree 262, amending the Election Law to open polls for two days at a time rather than one. The first phase of the election will run from Nov. 28 to 29 with a run-off Dec. 5 to 6, the second phase will run from Dec. 14 to 15 with a run-off Dec. 21 to 22, and the final phase, Jan. 3 to 4, will include a run-off Jan. 10 to 11. The Supreme Electoral Committee will consider the new law decree Saturday before issuing its decision on it, said a judicial source. Arabic here
