Egyptian Minister of Education Ahmed Gamel el-Din Moussa ordered student union administrations to organize trips to sites in Cairo for fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. Students from the governorates of South Sinai, North Sinai, Red Sea, Matrouh, Aswan, Wadi Gadid, and October 6 governorates will visit Tahrir Square, the Giza Pyramids, al-Azhar Park, the National Egyptian Circus, the Scientific Exploration City, and Cairo's Children's Theater. The deputy minister for Secondary Education, Gamal al-Arabi, the programs would be applied Sunday until Dec. 3. Every trip will include 50 people: 43 students, six supervisors and a school doctor. Arabi also said the Ministry of Education will fund students staying in Cairo's student unions “The program aims to develop students' awareness about Cairo landmarks, improve their self independence, and support national loyalty,” said Arabi.
