CAIRO: Egypt's Democratic Alliance will meet this Sunday at 1pm, according to an official from the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), a major power in the coalition. Political forces and presidential candidates will participate in the meeting to discuss amendments to the supra-constitutional principles document prepared by Deputy Prime Minister Ali al-Selmy. The meeting will also discuss the criteria to form a committee to draft Egypt's new constitution. The meeting will be followed by a press conference at 3pm at the FJP headquarters in Cairo. All 11 parties in the alliance refused al-Selmy's document, along with all Islamic parties and many youth coalitions, including the April 6 Movement.
