Head of the Coptic Christian Church, Pope Shenouda III, decided to cancel the first part of celebration of his 40th year as Pope to stand in solidarity with the martyrs' families. The second part of celebration will be applied with a march beginning in front of the cathedral to Tahrir Square on Friday November 11. It will be a funeral march and all Egyptian sects and many celebrities will participate. The march will begin from the cathedral as appreciation from which the funeral of the Maspiro martyrs began, and the funeral march then will pass by the Coptic hospital and then head to Tahrir square. A member in the political office of Maspiro Youth Union, Bishoy Tamery, said the union will participate in the march with martyrs' and injured families and Egyptians. The participants will wear black, white and red as a reference for the Egyptian flag. The organizers of the march agreed to hold only Egyptian flags and civil demands banners without any symbols or religious slogans because this march is for all Egyptians. They also won't repeat any improvised chants in respect of the martyrs souls. A member in the executive office of the Maspiro union, Michael Ramsis, said the union invited all Egyptian movements, unions and celebrities to participate in this march for Egypt.
