EgyptAir decided to fly 43 extra flights from Cairo and Alexandria to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada during Eid Al-Adha, a significant Islamic holiday, said head of National airline EgyptAir Helmy Rezk. Rezk also said EgyptAir is interested in flights to Egyptian touristic coastal cities in particular. The flights will be increased in order to activate tourism and attract Arab and foreign tourists. “EgyptAir will fly 20 extra flights to Sharm el-Sheikh in addition to its 10 daily regular flights, 16 flights to Hurghada in addition to the eight daily flights,” Rezk added. Rezk assured these extra flights will help cover customer demands who want to spend their holidays of Eid Al-Adha in Red Sea cities.
