Presidential candidate Amr Moussa met with The Democratic Front of April 6, a breakaway group of the April 6 Youth Movement, at his office in Dokki Saturday to discuss upcoming elections. A member of the executive office of the movement, Tarek el-Khouly, said that Moussa invited the movement's youth to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections, as they are the "new political factory." Moussa also said during the meeting that he would be president only for four years in order to achieve his electoral program. Egypt's Arab and international role can not be played by any other country, and it still waits for Egypt, said Moussa. He added that, "Political powers should emphasize changing the fifth article of the elections' law, so parties can use the proportional representation system." Moussa said that the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces intends to hand over authority, and current events are due to the unclear vision of the council regarding the transitional period. He also said that the presidential candidates have agreed about the majority of the current issues. The Democratic Front of April 6 demanded to have a seat to monitor presidential candidates' meetings, and Moussa welcomed the idea. Moussa also said the former regime figures should be temporarily excluded from political life.
