CAIRO: The Arab Leauge will never give up supporting a Palestinian State, Secretary-General Nabil al-Arabi said at the 66th session of the UN General Assembly in New York during talks with the Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations. Arabi cited UN Resolution 181, issued on November 28, 1947, that provides for the establishment of Israeli and Palestinian states. The Arab League Secretary-General said the United Nation General Assembly could recognize the Palestinian state with full membership in the United Nations. The talks tackled all the means that should be taken to support the recognition of a Palestinian state with full membership in the United Nations.
