The founder of Al-Ghad Al-Gadeed Party and presidential candidate, Ayman Nour, received and hosted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, on Tuesday. During their meeting, they discussed the importance of Kosovo's role in the next phase of consolidation of Egypt's relations with Europe. There was a dinner held during the delegation of Kosovo's visit, where they called for the military council and the interim Egyptian government's interim assessment to recognize their independent state. Nour announced his support for economic cooperation with Kosovo, through the invitation of Egyptian businessmen to invest in them. On domestic affairs, Nour said resistance to change can be greater than the change itself and Egyptians took refuge in the revolution after the rigged elections. Nour is still hopeful despite the slow pace of change. For his part, the Foreign Minister of Kosovo said he attended the meeting as a foreign minister and a close friend. He considered what happened in Tahrir Square a new birth for Egypt and the Arab world. He stressed history will not turn back. He also congratulates and supports Egyptians who fought in Tahrir Square for humanity and freedom. He hoped Egypt would r ecognize the independent state of Kosovo because both countries are united by religion and the struggle for freedom for both people.
