SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt: A group of protesters representing the Tourism Shops Coalition have filed a lawsuit against Egypt's Minister of Tourism, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, and the South Sinai governor. Protestors accused the officials of neglecting their demands to exempt them from paying rent until the end of 2011. Protestors also accused South Sinai's governor of not fulfilling his promises to renew the contracts with shop owners. The coalition announced it would resume protesting today. Twenty-three demonstrators have threatened to go on a hunger strike and another 70 will demonstrate until their demands are approved.
