Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef admitted there is an unsolved problem that threatens the future of star striker Razak Omotoyossi. Omotoyossi has been absent since playing for his country Benin earlier this month, with Zamalek vowing to discipline him when he returns. Youssef, who said that the 26-year-old will be back in two days, implied that his return date may be further delayed because of unpaid wages. “Razak's problem is still unsolved because it is related to his late wages and we still have a financial crisis," the former Egypt international told reporters. “I think if he is unhappy and wants to leave, he can do so if there is a good offer." Omotoyossi will miss Zamalek's next two Champions League games against Berekum Chelsea and Ahli through suspension.
