Ahli will have to do without top scorer Emad Meteb when they visit Ghazl Mahalla at the weekend due a muscle fatigue. The Reds' website stated via medical staff member Khaled Mahmoud that Meteb is suffering from a ‘severe muscle fatigue' in his hamstring. The Egypt striker's absence leaves Manuel Jose with the possibility of handing Geddo a start in Mahalla, while Fabio Junior, Al-Sayed Hamdi and Mohamed Fadl are also in contention. Meanwhile, defender Ahmed Fathi will have a late fitness test after sustaining a hip injury in the win over Ismaili, even though Ahli said that the injury is minor after the game. Jose is expected to reshuffle his backline as Ahli are already missing injured pair Mohamed Naguib and Rami Rabiea, whereas Sayed Moawad and Wael Gomaa are both suspended.
