Egypt coach Bob Bradley remained upbeat despite watching his side lose 2-0 to Brazil on his debut game in Doha. The African champions were easily outclassed by a less-than-impressive Selecao, even so Bradley pointed out some positives for his team. “Brazil are a very good team and for us tonight it was a good first step,” the American said after the game. “We had periods in the match when we played well. We must work to be able to do it for 90 minutes. “It is work overtime, continuing to build on good ideas, having good training sessions and also playing against top teams and learning from these games and then improving.” Al-Hadari snub Bradley explained why youngster Mohamed Al-Shennawi was preferred in goal to Essam Al-Hadari, who has been Egypt's number one for long. “We felt that in the training camp al-Shennawi was very sharp,” he added. “Al-Hadari is an important goalkeeper but he had a period where he hasn't been playing matches and we made the decision this game to use Shennawi. “We will continue to work with the players. This first training camp was very good. The response of the players was excellent and we will continue to build our team.”
