The upcoming cup fixtures of Zamalek and Ahli are set to be played at Cairo Stadium after the Military Academy refused to host any games for the duo. Zamalek are supposed to face Wadi Degla on Tuesday, while Cairo duo Ahli and ENPPI clash on Wednesday in the round of 16. "The Cairo Stadium management agreed in principle to host the games. We are just awaiting an official confirmation," competitions' committe chief Amer Hussein told FilGoal.com. The change was forced after the Military Academy Stadium refused to stage the games for security reasons, as revealed earlier by Degla. “The Military Academy Stadium declined to host any fixture for Zamalek or Ahli following the recent turmoil,” Hazem Khairat, Degla's chairman told Filgoal.com. Ahli's round of 32 cup-game versus Kima Aswan witnessed post-game bloody altercations between the Ultras Ahlawy fan-firm, who are renowned of their boundless love and support to their club, and Central Security Forces personnel. At the end of the game, the CSF chased the hard-core Ahli fans using batons to beat them up and evacuate the stadium. The brawl continued outside the 80,000-seat coliseum leaving at least 90 supporters and 45 policemen injured in the process. Ultras White Knights, Zamalek's corresponding fan-group, hold a grudge against the police as well, following a similar clash that marred a league game with Degla back in July.
