The identity of Egypt's new manager will be unveiled next week, Egyptian FA chairman Samir Zaher said on Wednesday. Egypt have been in search of a manager since the resignation of Hassan Shehata earlier this month, following the African champions failure in the CAN 2012 qualifiers. “The FA will decide on the new manager in next week's meeting,” Zaher was quoted by the FA's website. “We are currently reviewing the CVs of more than 30 managers who applied for the job. A full assessment will be made and then we shall make our decision. “Personally, I prefer an Egyptian manager, given that all of the nation's achievements came at the hands of Egyptians like Shehata, Mahmoud Al-Gohari and the late Shehta.” Zaher revealed last week that Egypt Olympic team coach and former defender Hany Ramzy is a strong candidate to land the job. According to local reports, MCDR boss Tarek Yehia and Talaat Youssef of Police Union were also among the names mentioned for the hot seat.
