Zamalek are traveling to Saudi Arabia to take on Abha in a friendly that could have been cancelled after the Whites failed to fly to the monarchy from Tunisia. The Cairo side slumped to a 4-2 defeat at Club Africain in the CAF Champions League round of 32 on Sunday. They should have flown directly to Saudi Arabia the next day but decided to get back to Cairo due to flight problems. Eventually, Zamalek managed to book another flight from Egypt to Saudi Arabia and the match will be played on Wednesday as planned. "We have resolved the problem and the contingent will set off from Egypt at 8p.m sharp on Tuesday," Marketing and public relations director Ashraf Sobhi told FilGoal.com. "The contingent will arrive in Egypt from Tunisia at 5p.m and remain at the airport till they take their next flight to Saudi Arabia." The match with Abha is part of the farewell of Mohamed Abou-Aouad. On the other hand, Zamalek are seeking to play a number of friendlies to improve match fitness after the Egyptian Premier League stoppage took a toll on the team.
