Ahli coasted to an easy 4-1 victory over second-division Tersana in a friendly match on Wednesday, with new signing Dominique da Silva getting on the scoresheet. Mohamed Abou-Treika maintained the habit of scoring against his former club when he opened the scoring on 11 minutes. Amr Basiouni leveled things for Tersana in the 38th minute, but Mohamed Barakat restored Ahli's lead on the stroke of half time. After the break, Emad Meteb made it three on 67 minutes and Mauritanian Da Silva put the icing on the cake 12 minutes from time. The match witnessed impressive attendance at Ahli's Helmi Zamora Stadium, where the Ultras Ahlawy group kept chanting nationalistic songs for long spells of the game. Ahli will also face Harras Hodoud and Wadi Degla in the current break before resuming the league season.
