Ahli's firepower was boosted with the return from injury of Liberian striker Francis Doe ahead of Thursday's Egyptian Premier League game against ENPPI. The Red Devils had to play without a recognized striker in their 1-0 victory at Petrojet last week, fielding natural deep-lying forward Geddo as a lone frontman. Doe, who missed that match due to a hamstring injury, was included in Ahli's squad for the tough clash against ENPPI after shaking off the complaint. The 24-year-old, who had an indifferent start to his Ahli adventure after joining in the summer of 2009, had already started to win over the Red Devils' faithful when he picked up the injury. He is likely to spearhead the team's attack against ENPPI, given that coach Hossam Al-Badri hardly relies on Lebanese Mohamed Ghaddar who is the only other striker named in the squad. Doe announced last month that he was quitting international football to concentrate on his Ahli career. The defending champions will miss left-back Sayed Moawad due to a calf muscle strain. Youngster Ayman Ashraf could deputize for him. Ahli, who eye a seventh consecutive league title, will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to this season's campaign when they meet ENPPI. They lie third in the league table with 14 points, on level with fourth-placed ENPPI who played three games more.
