Holland manager Bert van Marwijk has decided against taking veteran striker Ruud van Nistelrooy in his 2010 World Cup squad. The Dutch coach announced a provisional training squad excluding the Hamburg forward. Van Nistelrooy, 33, left Real Madrid for Hamburg in January so that he can carve out a place in the Oranje roster. The former Manchester United ace, who netted over 30 goals for his country, scored four times for HSV since his winter move. Coach Van Marwijk will announce a 30-man provisional squad on May 11th, before deciding on his final selection on the 22nd.
