The Saudi reports which claim that Nassr want to terminate Hossam Ghaly's contract are yet to be confirmed, according to agent Nader Shawki. It was said that Nasser-bound coach Walter Zenga was seeking to get rid of all the foreign players in the squad, Ghaly including. But Shawki said the Saudi club didn't make any official announcement that suggests they want to offload the Egyptian international. "Nassr told us nothing about a contract termination, so Ghaly should be staying till he sees his contract out," the he told FilGoal.com. The claims about the future of the former Tottenham Hotspur man were first made right after he was cleared of doping charges. Ghaly looked on the verge of being given a lengthy ban after testing positive for a banned substance following a cup tie with Hilal in February, but a second test in Germany exonerated him. Offers Shawki stressed that Nassr would have to pay Ghaly his salary for the next two seasons even if they actually dispensed with him. "He still have two more seasons on his contract, so if they wanted to rescind it they would have to pay him all his money," he explained. "Ghaly has already received offers from Egyptian and European sides, but I won't elaborate till the situation with Nassr is cleared." Egyptian champions Ahli approached Ghaly in the summer of 2008 but couldn't secure his services. Ghaly's deal with Nassr runs out by the end of the 2011-2012 season.
