Veteran midfielder Ahmed Hassan has been included in Ahli's squad for Thursday's Egyptian Premier League game against ENPPI after recovering from a minor hamstring complaint. The Egypt skipper missed Ahli's 2-1 league win over Asyut Petroleum and the stunning 1-0 defeat by Zimbabwe's Gunners in the first leg of the Champions League round of 32. His presence was sorely missed when Ahli failed to break down Gunners away from home to face possible elimination from Africa's premier club competition at the first hurdle. Hassan, Ahli's top scorer this season with seven goals, is likely to be named in the team's starting line-up against ENPPI on Thursday. The Red Devils will miss goalkeeper Sherif Ekrami, who has yet to impress the fans after joining in January from Gouna, and central defender Sherif Abdul-Fadil due to injury. The title holders, who chase a sixth consecutive league triumph, have a three-point lead over second-placed Zamalek, who played two games more.
