Zamalek vice president Raouf Gasser expressed his dissatisfaction over Amr Zaki's unjustifiable absence from training. The well-built striker has been missing the White Knights' regular training for a whole week, to incur the wrath of the Cairo club's officials. Zaki, who has been put on Zamalek's transfer list, has been behaving unreasonably over the past weeks, Gasser believes. "His misconduct doesn't make any sense and it's way beyond acceptable," he told Modern TV. "We can't tolerate this kind of disobedience." Zaki didn't reveal the reason behind his persistent absence, with some media reports suggesting that the Egyptian international was provoked when the club didn't release his payments in full. However, Gasser categorically denied these reports by saying: "Zaki has received all his payments; this is definitely not the reason." Zaki's agent Nader Shawki says that Turkish giants Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas are interested in the former Wigan Athletic ace.
