Ahli marksman Francis Doe has been ruled out of action for three weeks with a hamstring strain, which he sustained in his side's 2-0 win over Arab Contractors on Sunday. According to the Red Devils' official website, X-rays images showed that the Liberian ace suffered a 'second-degree strain' that will keep him on the sidelines for three weeks. Doe picked up the injury in the first half of the league game and was taken off before halftime. Doe, who joined Ahli in the close season after his contract with America's DC United expired, put in a handful of impressive performances but niggling injuries keep hindering his progress. Back in August, the 23-year-old was out approximately out for three weeks after suffering a hamstring problem too. Doe has scored a couple of competitive goals for Ahli since his arrival at the Cairo club. On the other hand, versatile midfielder Ahmed Hassan took no part in Monday's training session and trained separately, after suffering extreme exhaustion for featuring consecutively for Ahli and Egypt of late. Hani Al-Egeizi has returned to training after recuperating from a pelvic injury, and he's set to end his one-month layoff.
