Ahli under-fire goalkeeper Amir Abdul-Hamid is ready to accept any action against him, following his recent spat with manager Hossam Al-Badri. The outcast keeper engaged in an angry conversation with Al-Badri after being dropped from the team's squad facing Mansoura. Consequently, Ahli decided to fine Abdul-Hamid and suspend him until further notice. "I am ready to accept any punishment from the club because it's a matter of time before I leave," Abdul-Hamid told FilGoal.com. "In nearly 10 years with Ahli, I have never been involved in a problem and I don't want to cause any problems before I go. "I hope fans can pardon me because it has been very difficult for me recently." Abdul-Hamid, who was tipped to succeed Essam Al-Hadari as Ahli's number one last season, went down the pecking order after some shaky performances this year. The 30-year-old is now almost certain to leave the Red Devils, but has yet to reveal his next destination. "I will either head to the US in the winter break or I'll join another Egyptian league team," he added. Ahli goalkeeping coach Ahmed Nagi recently revealed that the Cairo club are looking to add another goalkeeper to their squad, implying that Abdul-Hamid's days with the team are numbered.
